The incident has brought immense grief to Luis’s family, especially to his mother, Governor Vilma Santos.
Following the recent elections, in which Luis Manzano lost his bid to become Vice Governor of Batangas, news suddenly surfaced about his hospitalization. According to sources, it was due to a serious illness Luis had been battling for several years, which he had allegedly kept secret from his loved ones. Even his wife, Jessy, was reportedly unaware that Luis had been suffering from a serious condition.
Most people were shocked, as Luis never showed any signs of illness in public, especially around his family. Shortly after the news of his condition, it was rumored that Luis had flown abroad to receive medical treatment for his worsening illness.
