SHOCKING REVELATION: A new potential witness has emerged in the case of the missing sabungeros (cockfighters), allegedly ordered to be killed by Atong Ang in 2021. The victim was shot at with no less than 50 bullets. Miraculously, not a single bullet hit him. “We have nothing to do with any of this. One day, you’ll know it’s true.” As time goes by, the case of the missing sabungeros becomes deeper and more tangled.
And now, with a new witness speaking out, the web of complex connections behind the disappearances is being further unraveled. This time, it’s not just an ordinary name that surfaced—it’s a former barangay captain and now city councilor, Arvin Manguyat. What he revealed isn’t gossip—it’s detailed information from someone with inside knowledge of the operations.
Could it really be that those expected to uphold the law are the same ones behind the abductions and killings?
But before we continue, please like this video—it means a lot to us content creators. Thank you!
According to Manguyat, the police involved in the disappearance of the sabungeros weren’t just ordinary officers. Most of them were intelligence officers—trained in covert operations and previously part of the bloody drug war. He said they often carried out undocumented operations like arrests, ambushes, and even killings.
In some cases, it even seemed legal to certain officials—no warrants, no due process—just off-the-record operations. Manguyat himself nearly got killed in 2021. According to him, a known gambling boss was behind the attempted ambush, suspecting him of being a traitor or a whistleblower.
He said this information came from Donondon Patidongan, a whistleblower who had inside knowledge of the group’s activities for years—from the kidnapping of sabungeros to the drug war killings. Apparently, it was the same group involved in both.
This makes it increasingly clear that the case is more than just simple kidnapping. It’s part of a long-running, bloody, and secretive system. As Manguyat disclosed more, people began to wonder: What if it’s all true? What if those we expect to protect us are secretly breaking the law?
For the average citizen, it’s terrifying to think that such operations might not be isolated incidents but part of a deeply rooted system of power and corruption.
Manguyat recalled a meeting with someone he knew, thinking it was just about sabong (cockfighting) in Laguna. He thought it was a business discussion. But to his shock, the person asked if he had any idea who was behind the ambush.
Manguyat answered, “The police!” That’s when his contact began to reveal more. According to him, it was Boss AA, or Atong Ang, known in the gambling and business world, who ordered the ambush. Manguyat was stunned and asked, “What did I do wrong? Why would they ambush me?”
The story got more complicated.
In 2021, Manguyat’s name suddenly appeared on the list of so-called High-Value Targets (HVT)—usually linked to drugs. He was shocked, saying he had nothing to do with such things. With help from an official, he got his name removed from the list. But the day after he survived the ambush, it was suddenly added back.
The same official who helped him before called and asked, “What happened?”
He replied, “Sir, I was ambushed.”
The official responded, “What? But your name is no longer on the HVT list.”
Manguyat said, “Exactly, sir. Maybe someone added it back.”
The next day, it was confirmed—his name had been added again, as if someone powerful was pulling the strings.
Manguyat said he never suspected Atong Ang was involved until Donondon Patidongan told him directly. It shocked him even more because it meant that despite efforts by officials to clear his name, danger still followed him.
At the end of their conversation, Patidongan asked again who he thought was behind the ambush. Manguyat named some police officers he suspected. Patidongan confirmed, “Correct. Those are the ones who ambushed you.”
In another interview, Justice Secretary Boying Remulla said there may be a deep connection between the missing sabungeros and the drug war killings during the Duterte administration. He was referring to extrajudicial killings linked to the anti-drug campaign.
This was confirmed by Calamba City Councilor Arvin Manguyat (nicknamed “Mang Guyat”). He said he personally knew some of the officers now under PNP’s restrictive custody—meaning they’re not yet in jail but under investigation and barred from active duty.
But Manguyat said those weren’t the only names that should be looked into. He plans to add more—three sergeants and one police colonel—whom he believes are also involved. He intends to file official complaints with NAPOLCOM next week, which may reveal even more details.
Meanwhile, media followed the families of the missing sabungeros to Camp Vicente Lim, where they gave official statements to the PNP-CIDG. These testimonies are to be compared with those of other witnesses, including Patidongan.
According to reports, none of the families directly named a single mastermind behind the disappearances. They didn’t explicitly point to Atong Ang or any major figure. But interestingly, it was Patidongan himself who told Manguyat that Atong Ang was the mastermind behind the attempted ambush in 2021.
This adds even more confusion. Why are there conflicting statements? Are powerful names really not involved—or are people just too afraid to name them? Why are the same people involved in the drug war now being linked to the sabungero disappearances?
With so many names coming up and so many deep connections, one thing is clear: The fight isn’t over for the families left behind. And in the coming weeks, even more names may surface.
As more witnesses come forward and more names are exposed, the wound deepens for families seeking justice. It’s heartbreaking to think that people in power may be using their positions not to protect but to hide the truth.
But despite it all, there is still hope. Every testimony brings us closer to the full story—and hopefully, to justice.
So now we ask you:
If you were in the position of the victims’ families, how far would you go to uncover the truth?
Do you still believe that justice is possible in the system we have today?
