Social media influencer Marl, now more popularly known as Zander Ford, is deeply regretful over what’s happening in his life—especially the return of his old looks. In a video uploaded to his Facebook page, Zander Ford Arizala became emotional as he apologized to himself for the way he had neglected his own well-being, particularly his face, which now seems to be reverting to its previous state. This has once again made him the subject of ridicule among netizens.
He also apologized to his parents and to everyone he believes he had wronged.
He said, “If there’s one thing I could say to myself, it would be, ‘Sorry, self, for neglecting you.’”
He also expressed remorse to everyone he had hurt and for his arrogance in the past.
“Sorry, self, because I chose to be arrogant. I chose to be stubborn. I chose myself. I chose to please other people,” he added.
It’s worth recalling that ABS-CBN once helped him improve his appearance—to become more handsome, to launch a promising showbiz career, and possibly to be paired with actress Miles Ocampo. However, as opportunities came his way, he began to change. He became arrogant, boastful, and refused to listen to management, who constantly advised him to stay humble at all times.
Unfortunately, he didn’t heed their advice. Instead, he became difficult and insulting.
There was even a time when he publicly insulted Kathryn Bernardo, who had kept quiet about the issue, calling her cross-eyed—something that outraged netizens.
Because of his arrogance and condescending attitude, the once bright future ABS-CBN had in store for him vanished in an instant. Add to that his stubbornness—had he only stayed humble, he might have enjoyed a successful career and maintained his improved appearance.
