The news that is currently spreading about the Queen of All Media — **Kris Aquino**, after she revealed to the public that **she has been suffering from autoimmune diseases** has increased. From several previous illnesses, she has now reportedly been diagnosed with **nine (9)** conditions, causing her health to deteriorate even further**.
In an emotional statement, Kris shared that **what she is going through** every day is no joke. She follows strict treatment every day, and she can hardly sleep properly because of **excessive body pain, extreme fatigue, and inflammation in various parts of her body**.
> “I don’t know how I will ever get up, but for my children, I have to fight. But the truth is, I am so tired,” Kris said while crying in her video message.
According to her doctors, the increase in autoimmune diseases may be caused by **compounding effects** of her pre-existing conditions, such as **Lupus-like symptoms, Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, and Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (EGPA)** — a rare and life-threatening disease.
But what shocked the public even more was the revelation that **other organ systems were also affected, including her lungs and heart**, which are now being continuously monitored.
Despite what she is going through, her sons **Josh and Bimby**, as well as friends and fans both inside and outside the country, continue to support her. Many artists and politicians have also expressed their prayers and love for Kris.
However, the public cannot help but ask — **how long will Kris be able to fight this battle? And why does she seem to be unstoppable in the face of severe trials?**
While there is no definitive answer, one thing is clear: **Kris Aquino continues to fight — not just for herself, but for her children and those who continue to believe in her.**
Even her doctor admitted that they rarely see a patient with this severe case who is **still this strong and determined.**
For now, Kris’s only request is for prayers and support from the public.
And despite everything, her message is clear:
Kris Aquino revealed that her medical team has grown, given that she is now dealing with nine autoimmune diseases, while reiterating that she is not a “diva patient.”
Sharing photos of herself getting treated at the Makati Medical Center, Aquino opened up about her medical treatments for her autoimmune diseases on her Instagram page on Sunday, April 6. She also admitted that five of them “can cause [her] death.”
“Contrary to what you may assume, I am NOT a ‘diva’ patient. I asked vascular surgeon Dr. James which hospital he was most comfortable to do my PICC Line change in and he chose Makati Med,” she said.
“My medical team has grown because my diagnosed autoimmune diseases have now grown to 9. Five of them can cause my death. That has been hard to process. But slowly I am learning to leave everything to God’s will because He knows best,” she further explained.
The actress-host also shared that she regained her appetite and she currently weighs 88 pounds, while recalling the time she received turon, chocolate chip cookies, avocados, carabao milk, beef steak, pistachio sans rival, carbonara, and mangoes from friends.
“Jessica Soho is so caring [and] is a real friend — weekly she sends me mangoes, I eat a minimum of 3 a day. Chef Jessie for me makes the best angus Bistek Tagalog & her pistachio sans rival is superb. AMARE in Royce hotel, Clark has the best carbonara. I am now 88 pounds, that’s a WIN. Because God helps those who help themselves,” she added.
Aquino also shared that her ex-boyfriend, Dr. Mike Padlan, declined to remain as one of her lead physicians, while reflecting on their past romance.
“I am sad that you declined to remain as [one] of my lead physicians, but I do understand what you meant when you said to ‘LET ME GO’ — mahirap talaga kapag magkaibang mundo ang pinanggalingan at nakasanayan,” she said.

The Queen of All Media previously revealed that she was in a relationship with Padlan in September 2024. However, they parted ways five months later with Aquino claiming that he “didn’t love” her. This led to Padlan’s son speaking up for the physician in March 2025.
Touching on their split, she hinted that Padlan has been upset with her following her explosive revelation.
“In time I still hope your anger will lessen and we shall both have PEACE IN OUR HEARTS. I’m almost there because I appreciate all I have [and] everyone who pray for me [and] make the effort to express their concern and compassion,” she said
