Lotlot de Leon promised in a social media post on Friday, April 25, for his mother, National Artist Nora Aunor, who passed away on April 16, that he will continue to take care of his mother’s legacy to her siblings.

‘Ian, Matet, Kiko, Ken and I. Just look after us always ma.. I know you won’t abandon us in every decision we make as siblings. And we are even more united because of you. And we promise to take care of your legacy, Ma, my siblings,’ he posted.

Lotlot added that he talks to his mother every day and believes that she continues to guide him. He also shared his promise to take care of his siblings and Nora’s grandchildren, according to his mother’s wishes.

“Ma, many love you… I hope you can see that,” said Lotlot, while also thanking everyone who showed support for their family.

The remains of Nora Aunor were buried at the Heroes’ Cemetery on April 23.

Lotlot also admitted that he continues to strive to be strong despite his grief.

He continued in the caption, “And I also know that what you told me was my siblings and grandchildren. What you taught me to be strong is what I’m really trying to do,” said Lotlot.

The actress also mentioned that her siblings Ian, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth became closer because of their mother, and promised to continue to cherish her legacy.

“Mom, many people love you. So much! I hope you can see that. They all showed up for you and our family and we, your children, are so grateful. Ian, Matet, Kiko, Ken, and I,” she said on IG.

She also asked her late mother, “Just look after us always, ma.. I know you won’t abandon us in every decision we siblings make. And we are even more united because of you.”

It will be recalled that on the last night of Ate Guy’s funeral, Lotlot shared in his eulogy the last text message he received from his mother where the legendary actress tried not to reveal her true condition so that her daughter would not worry.

In an interview, Ian also shared the last message his mother sent him where she prayed to God for the safety of the loved ones she would leave behind.

“Lord, wherever my children go, please hold them, protect them from all dangers and always bring them home safely,” said Ian, who read Nora’s text to him during an interview on the program “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

It will be recalled that Nora passed away on April 16 at the age of 71 due to acute respiratory failure.
