The showbiz industry remains in mourning over the passing of Miss Nora Aunor, who was regarded as a Superstar and National Artist. However, her death has also left behind many questions—particularly regarding the actress’s wealth.

According to reports, Miss Nora Aunor still owned several pieces of land, but the validity of the documents tied to these properties seems questionable. There are also rumors that Miss Nora left a last will and testament, but no one knows its contents or whether the actress truly intended to pass on her properties to her children—Lotlot, Ian, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth de Leon.

It is said that the late actress’s last will and testament is currently in the safekeeping of a lawyer.

In one of Miss Nora Aunor’s past vlogs, she shared that she had returned to Camarines Sur to manage her land holdings. In that vlog, the actress said that she had given land to many farmers—land that she personally owned.

She claimed to own a large expanse of farmland: around 64 hectares of rice fields and 22.6 hectares of coconut farmland. Miss Nora said these lands were entrusted to her by her parents, Yustasio and Antonia Villamayor. According to her, her parents devoted themselves to purchasing these lands using money she earned from her singing and showbiz career.

Due to her immense popularity, Miss Nora was also able to acquire multiple properties, including those in La Vista, Greenhills, Valencia, Balete, and Corinthian Gardens. She once revealed that her property in Jackson Greenhills spanned about 3,000 square meters.

However, she had to sell some of these properties, including her house in Valencia, to raise funds for producing films. Among the films she produced were Banaue and Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos. Miss Nora Aunor also accumulated many trophies, which she kept in her house in Quezon City. Some of these trophies have since gone missing, prompting her to request replicas. In an interview with the Inquirer in 2017, she said:

“I am asking help from the award-giving bodies. I want to have replicas of the missing trophies made.”

Nora Aunor is also remembered for her iconic musical variety show, which ran for 22 years. Because of this, fans know that she once earned a substantial income during the height of her career.

Meanwhile, in a report by PEP.ph, one of Miss Nora Aunor’s friends, Esperanza Fabon—a former singer-actress who is now a judge—shared information about the actress’s properties in Iriga, Camarines Sur. According to Esperanza, the late actress visited her office several times to consult her about issues related to those properties.

Miss Esperanza even revealed that one of the land titles owned by Nora Aunor was left at St. Luke’s Hospital as collateral to secure her brother’s discharge. Unfortunately, that title also had legal issues.

Esperanza added that Miss Nora Aunor was a truly generous person, to the point that she was sometimes taken advantage of.

In a vlog posted three years ago, Nora said she would provide an update about her land properties. But to this day, no clear information has been given. She was unable to take care of it due to her busy schedule with various projects and later, because of hospitalization and surgery. Then, finally, she passed away this April.
