Manila, Philippines — In a revelation that has stunned both the entertainment industry and loyal fans across the country, the Last Will and Testament of the late veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez has been disclosed — and it’s nothing short of emotional, powerful, and deeply personal.

The 76-year-old icon, who passed away recently, had prepared a final message and a meticulously written will that reflected not just his love for his family, but also the lessons he hoped to leave behind.

💌 A Father’s Final Words

Sources close to the Valdez family shared that Ronaldo’s will was read in an intimate family setting — and many were brought to tears, especially upon hearing a personal letter he had written to each of his children, particularly to his son, actor Janno Gibbs.

In a handwritten note, Ronaldo reportedly expressed:

“My son, you have always been the light in our family. I may not have said it enough, but I am proud of you. Carry our name with honor, but above all, choose peace over fame. I will always be with you.”

The room was silent as these words echoed, many too overwhelmed to speak. A relative described it as “a moment frozen in time.”

💔 The Legacy He Left Behind

Ronaldo Valdez, beloved for his commanding presence in film and TV, left behind not just properties and earnings — but a legacy of humility, hard work, and kindness.

His will specified that a portion of his wealth would go to a scholarship fund for aspiring actors from underprivileged backgrounds, to be named “The Valdez Grant.”

“To those who dream beyond poverty and pain — let this small help keep the flame alive,” he wrote.

⚖️ No Family Feud — Just Gratitude

Contrary to speculations that often surround celebrity wills, the reading of Ronaldo’s last testament was marked not by conflict, but by unity and gratitude. His children reportedly agreed without contest, honoring his wishes without hesitation.

Family friend and legal witness Atty. Araneta shared:

“What I witnessed wasn’t about inheritance. It was about legacy. Everyone in that room cried not because they gained something — but because they had lost someone truly irreplaceable.”

🎥 A Posthumous Tribute in the Works?

Rumors have already begun swirling that a documentary-style tribute about Ronaldo Valdez’s life and career may be in development, featuring interviews from his closest friends, co-stars, and family members.

Netizens have also flooded social media with tributes:

“Ronaldo Valdez didn’t just act — he gave life to every role. Now he’s left us with one final, unforgettable act.”

“That letter to Janno Gibbs? I’m sobbing. Rest in peace, Legend.”
