Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez and ‘Idol Philippines’ Host Robi Domingo apparently decided to trip up Unkabogable star Vice Ganda’s picture in the hallway of ABS-CBN.

“You don’t realize if you’re being nice to your rich office mate or just trying to borrow money,” Regine captioned her recent Instagram post.

“Let’s ask for a favor from virtue,” Robi commented.

Of course, Vice Ganda didn’t hold back in commenting either, saying “the power of Mahal na Bertud belongs to you!”

Melai Cantiveros and Gary Valenciano also commented.

Regine and Robi are currently on Idol Philippines Season 2.

For the first time, new Kapamilya member Regine Velasquez made her first guest appearance on Vice Ganda’s talk show Gandang Gabi Vice (GGV) which aired last night, October 28.

Vice said in the episode that Regine herself decided that GGV would be her first time doing an interview on an ABS-CBN show.

According to Regine, she wanted to take this opportunity to tell Vice how proud she is of the actor-comedian’s achievements.

She told Vice, “Because I saw you when you were little and how you started, I feel like I’m part of it.

“Although I’m not really part of it, but I just feel so proud of you.

“I’m so so proud of you in what you have achieved and every time, when I watch Showtime, you help people and you plant a seed even—the things that you say to the contestants, sometimes it’s silly but sometimes you have time to take it back, you become serious.

“And I’m proud, that’s why I really want to be the first guest here, because I want to tell you that I am very, very proud of you.”

Vice then echoed Regine’s beautiful words and told how much Regine has influenced her career.

Vice said, “And you are really a part of it, a big part of it.

“When I had the chance to talk to Ogie Alcasid, your husband, he asked me, ‘You know, I can feel it, you love my wife so much. Why are you my idol?’

“I said, ‘You know, saying that Regine is my idol is an understatement. I don’t idolize her. She’s my hero.’”

Regine was surprised, “Really? I’m going to cry again, Vice!”

Vice explained, “Your influence on my life is so great, your impact on my life is so great, and I started performing because of you, because of your songs.”I started falling in love with music because of you, I learned to save so I could buy a multiplex, your CD.”

Vice was then with Anton Diva, who is better known for impersonating Regine.

They even recalled that Vice and Anton once guested on a birthday special for the 48-year-old singer/actress/TV host.

Regine said, “But you know, not everybody knows that you used to do that, that Vice really does Regine, so that means his voice is really high.”

Vice replied, “Yes, that’s why you’re my hero. You’re such a big part of my life.

“You gave me the confidence to sing, you gave me someone to emulate.

“You are someone who has been inspiring me ever since then until now.

“That’s why I love you so much. You’re in my heart.

“I love you more than my girlfriend, promise.”

“To Anton and I, I can speak for Anton. For sure, Anton loves you more than his girlfriend.”

Regine said she’s very happy whenever members of the LGBT community impersonate and idolize her.

“You know, I don’t always say it, but I love you so much.

“I love those people from the beginning… I don’t even know why LGBT people like me!

“I’m not sure either, but I appreciate that you emulate me, you copy me, and I love it every time I see someone copying me.

“The others seem to be insulted. Me, I’m really laughing.

“So when you invite me… Remember, you invited me to your first concert at the Music Museum, I was there and I was just happy to support you.”

Vice was one of those who gave nice comments and welcomed Regine when she signed a contract with ABS-CBN on October 18.

Vice also said that Regine was one of the people who helped her when she experienced depression this year.

On Saturday, October 27, Regine made her followers laugh on Instagram when she posted a collage of photos of her and Vice where she proved that they are “just one person.”
