Lotlot de Leon on Not Attending the Family Reunion at Nora Aunor’s House

Lotlot de Leon responded to a Noranian who criticized her harshly. She could no longer hold back after a netizen scolded her for not visiting her adoptive mother, Nora Aunor.

On January 8, 2022, a surprise post-Christmas and New Year celebration took place at the Superstar’s home when her children—Ian, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth de Leon—visited her.

The only one missing from the family gathering was Lotlot, one of Ate Guy’s adopted children.

It is no secret to the public that a long-standing rift has existed between Lotlot and Nora.

Earlier this week, Lotlot posted a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption “Hakuna Matata,” which means no worries.

In the comments section, a netizen—clearly a Nora fan (Noranian)—lashed out at Lotlot for not showing up at the reunion.

“Truly heartless, huh?” the critic began.

The netizen further accused Lotlot of being cold and distant toward her mother, saying they hoped her own children wouldn’t treat her the same way she treats Nora.

Worse, the commenter even reminded her of being adopted.

The netizen wrote (published as is):

“Maybe if she didn’t adopt you, you wouldn’t be where you are now.
We all saw how Ate Guy was visited. You were the only one missing.
What do you see her as, just an obligation?”

“I really don’t like your attitude.”

Lotlot responded firmly but calmly, refusing to use harsh language in return.

Her composed reply (published as is):

“Oh! Your heart… please take it easy.
But wait, maybe you still have more to say?
Is there nothing else you want to add to your judgment?
Okay.. noted! Noted very well!”

Lotlot’s supporters, including Myria Dufresne, her half-sister through her biological father Donald Lee Olson, came to her defense.

Part of Myria’s comment:

“You don’t know her on a personal level, so don’t be rude!
You have no idea what goes on in the family, so please keep your nasty grams to yourself!
My sister has a very loving heart and she deserves nothing but the best!”

Lotlot thanked her sister for the support.

To clarify, Lotlot is the adopted daughter of Nora Aunor and her ex-husband Christopher de Leon.

Ian de Leon is their biological son, while Matet, Kenneth, and Kiko are also adopted children of the Superstar.
