Lotlot at Matet HALOS MAHIMATAY sa KAKAIYAK! Libing ni NORA AUNOR, Dumagsa ang Fans at Kaibigan! - YouTube

Manila, Philippines — No one, especially Nora Aunor’s own children Matet and Lotlot de Leon, expected what they discovered on their mother Ate Guy’s cellphone after her passing. Amidst their mourning, an emotional revelation emerged—a digital treasure trove of memories, love, and hidden goodness.

According to a close friend of the Superstar who helped organize her personal belongings, Ate Guy’s cellphone was filled with unopened messages, drafts of songs and scripts she still wanted to write, as well as voice memos in which her voice could be heard—weak, but still full of emotion and hope.

But what brought tears to Matet and Lotlot’s eyes the most were the photos and videos he had taken privately: simple moments with his grandchildren, prayers written in the notes app, and messages he had not yet sent to his children—words of love, gratitude, and apology for past misunderstandings.

I really didn’t expect it,” Lotlot said through tears. “I thought I knew everything about Mama. But in those messages, I saw her heart—softer, truer, greater than all the roles she had played.”

Even Matet quietly shed tears as he read a message that was clear to him: “Son, I love you so much. Even if I haven’t said it often, I hope you can feel it. I am proud of you.”

This cellphone is now considered a priceless treasure by the family—a reminder that despite her silence in recent years, Nora Aunor continued to love, dream, and cherish.

This is the Superstar who was not only recognized on stage, but a mother who, behind the camera, had an incomparable heart.
