A shocking and emotional revelation enveloped the final moments of Nora Aunor’s farewell, when the contents of her *last will and testament* were revealed. According to those close to the family, not only her children Ian and Matet were given a share—but also her mother Lotlot de Leon and Janine Gutierrez, who apparently did not expect the size and depth of the Superstar’s legacy to them.

While reading Nora’s last will, Lotlot was moved to tears when he read the part that Nora personally wrote for her:

Janine Gutierrez paid a heartfelt tribute to her late grandmother, Nora Aunor, who passed away on Wednesday.

In her post, Janine shared a black and white photo of her Mama Guy, and an old photo of the Superstar with her and her three siblings, Jessica, Diego, and Maxine.

“With sorrowful hearts, we share the passing of our grandmother, Mama Guy. A treasure to our family but truly always more to the people than ours,” Janine said in the caption.

“She had a life of giving her immeasurable love to everyone she touched whether on screen, through music, or in person,” she continued.

She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming love and support shown by the public during their time of trial, and asked for continued prayers for their family.

“We find comfort in knowing she, the one and only Superstar, will be forever loved,” said Janine.

Nora passed away on Wednesday at the age of 71. Her son Ian De Leon announced this on Facebook.

Just last week, Janine’s grandmother Pilita Corrales, 87, who was the mother of her father, Ramon Christopher Gutierrez, also passed away.

Meanwhile, following Nora’s passing, condolences and tributes poured in on social media from Filipino celebrities such as Vilma Santos and Dingdong Dantes, among others.

Dubbed “Superstar,” Nora was recognized as a National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts in 2022. She was known for her iconic roles in the films “Himala,” “Bona,” and “Minsa’y Isang Gamu-gamo.”

Her recent films include “Mananambal,” where she co-starred with Bianca Umali, and “Pieta,” where she co-starred with Alfred Vargas.

Last year, she was also seen in the GMA Afternoon Prime series “Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law,” starring Jo Berry. They previously worked together in the 2018 Kapuso series “Onanay.”

Nora is also known as a popular singer, and some of her songs include “Pearly Shells” and “Tiny Bubbles.”

She married Christopher de Leon in 1975, but they later separated and their marriage was annulled in 1996. They have five children: Ian, Lotlot, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth.
