According to them, it was their way of allowing those who loved and supported the TV host and actor Luis Manzano to say goodbye and see their idol one last time.
In a photo recently shared by his wife Jessy Mendiola, it could be clearly seen that their home was overflowing with people during the last night of Luis Manzano’s wake. According to her, it was overwhelming to witness the genuine outpouring of love and support for Luis even in his final moments.
Sources confirmed that Luis Manzano—known in real life as Luis Philip Santos Manzano—passed away at the age of 44 due to a heinous act allegedly committed by his stepfather, which his body ultimately could not withstand. His mother, Vilma Santos, along with their children, found it extremely difficult to process the sudden loss and the tragic circumstances surrounding it.
Now, however, they are slowly beginning to accept the painful truth—that perhaps Luis’s mission on Earth had already been fulfilled and that it was truly his time to go. He was the heart of our family, a source of unconditional love, strength, and warmth. His kindness, wisdom, and beautiful spirit touched everyone who knew him. He will be missed beyond words and remembered forever. We will love you forever, my son.”
Following this emotional message, countless netizens and celebrity friends expressed deep sympathy and grief for the Santos family. During today’s public viewing, emotions spilled over—friends from the entertainment industry such as Toni Gonzaga, Vice Ganda, Billy Crawford, and Anne Curtis were seen openly weeping and in utter disbelief over the devastating loss.
