Aiza Seguerra resigns as NYC chair
MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang confirmed that Aiza Seguerra has submitted her resignation letter as chair of the National Youth Commission (NYC).

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a media briefing that the office of Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea has received Aiza’s resignation letter.

According to Roque, he has not yet spoken to Aiza regarding her resignation as NYC chairperson.

There is still no information on whether President Duterte has accepted Aiza’s resignation.

Aiza’s resignation letter is dated March 5 but will be effective on April 5.

President Duterte appointed Aiza as NYC chair in August 2016 while her partner Liza Dino was appointed executive director of the Film Academy of the Philippines.
