Vice Ganda’s Reaction After Finding Out Ion Perez Has a Child with Another Woman
Ion Perez is currently the talk of the town after it was revealed to the public that he already has a son from a previous relationship—long before he and Vice Ganda got together. As many may recall, Ion, whose real name is Benigno Perez, first rose to fame as “Kuya Escort” on the It’s Showtime segment “Q&A” back in 2018.
Eventually, he and Vice Ganda developed a romantic relationship. Despite the many people who were against their relationship, the two proved their genuine love for each other. After a few years, Vice and Ion got married in a wedding ceremony held in Las Vegas, USA, in October 2021.
Following their marriage, rumors spread that the couple was planning to have a child through surrogacy. However, as of now, that has not yet happened. But it seems they may no longer need to, as Ion Perez apparently already has a child.
Ion’s having a child came to light after Vice Ganda greeted him a “Happy Father’s Day.” Vice said, “Happy Father’s Day to all the dads—and to the moms who also took on the role of being dads. Director John Mal, Director Lauren Dyogi, Dumbo, and my husband, Aon.”
Many were surprised to learn that Aon (Ion) has a child. But if we recall, this isn’t the first time this was revealed. Ion never really hid the fact that he has a child. In fact, he mentioned it during an interview back in 2018. According to him, his child was 3 years old at that time and is a boy.
That means Ion’s son is now around 10 years old and lives with Ion’s former partner. Ion clarified that even though he is far from his son, he does not neglect him and continues to support the child financially.
He also shared that sometimes he gets to spend time with his son when he is allowed to see him. Ion admitted that the situation happened because of his impulsiveness during his youth. In the interview, he said, “Even though we don’t get to see each other often, I never neglected my son.”
Photos of Ion’s son have also circulated on social media. In those pictures, it is clear that the boy looks a lot like Ion—and he is very handsome too.
