Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez clarified that she’s carrying no grudge against Queen of All Media Kris Aquino following the unfollowing spree of the latter recently.

PNoy received criticisms due to his absence at the arrival honors for the Special Action Force (SAF) commandos who were killed in a clash at Mamasapano, Maguindanao last January 25.

“I’m not aware actually (about the issue). Not an issue. It’s finished. She already apologized,” Regine said at the recently-concluded press conference of the Ultimate concert at Luxent Hotel on Monday, February 9.

She added, “I couldn’t understand the whole thing. My husband just told me. It’s over, he also apologized. There is nothing, no ill will.”

Kris admitted via comment to her post that she did unfollow the couple due to a misinterpretation.
The multi-awarded singer clarified that she still follows Kris on Instagram despite the incident.

“I really didn’t know because I was only watching Barney. I didn’t do much on Instagram. I am also busy with the concert. I didn’t unfollow her (Kris),” she shared.

The couple, along with a bunch of other local stars like Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, have been outright supporters of PNoy back when he was still campaigning for the presidential seat in 2010.

As the Fallen 44 issue reached the Senate probe, Regine stressed that the country should be one in prayer for the easy resolution of the incident.

“With the many problems we are having right now, the blame is right. Let us just pray for our President. He is going through a lot. Let us pray for the families of the fallen 44 and for our government. There is a lot that needs to be fixed, maybe now is not the time to point fingers,” she ended.

Regine along with Martin Nievera, Lani Misalucha and Gary Valenciano will be headlining the Ultimate concert which will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on February 13 and 14.
