In a two-minute video she uploaded on Facebook last June 6, Katrina explained the reason for her back out.

According to the singer, she needed an immediate medical procedure to remove her silicone implant from her nose. “So after I posted on I couldn’t attend 98 degrees and I had to cancel some commitments that I was supposed to sing. It’s because I need my nose implant removed as soon as possible, and it takes a while to recover.

“So I had complications, for years after having the silicone implant in my nose. You also know that I’m very open about what I do. Being a robot or being an android, right? At first I had Gore-Tex my body rejected it right ahead and then I had it removed also.

“After the second one, this is the one now and I had complications again. So, it does really look like very rare that my body does not accept implants or foreign objects.”

Her implants were removed with the help of Dr. Eric C. Yapjuangco, more popularly known as Doc Yappy. “I did a very good recovery, but before, I was so swollen, I couldn’t handle 98 Degrees, because I was really puffy,” he said.
