Today, Monday, November 11, is Ai-Ai’s 60th birthday.

The Comedy Queen confirmed in an interview with Boy Abunda on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda today that Gerald and she broke up via text message.

Since then, they have not met or spoken in person. When Ai-Ai returned to Gerald’s home in America on October 27, her estranged husband, with whom she had been in a relationship for ten years, was also gone.

Ai-Ai and Gerald got married in 2017 after a three-year relationship as lovers.

“Yes, we are separated. He said he wants to have children, he is no longer happy,” Ai-Ai shared with Boy.

“I am a little confused, shocked.

Why this time? I wish you had waited for me to come back to America.’ There are many whys.”

Ai-Ai continued, “In fairness, we never really fought.

“Actually, throughout our entire [time] together, we had… discussions, er, not fights. So, I was kind of surprised.

“Why now? What’s up with October? What’s up with today? Why is it so early here [in the Philippines]?

“I was replying to his chat, but he already hung up on me that morning.

When Ai-Ai got into a relationship with Gerald in 2014, she said she knew the situation she was getting into.
