In a surprising yet touching moment, Bollywood actress and television personality Rakhi Sawant was seen emotional and in tears as she expressed her heartfelt concern for fellow actress Deepika Padukone and her father, badminton legend Prakash Padukone, who has reportedly been hospitalized due to COVID-19 complications.

Rakhi, known for her candid emotions and dramatic personality, was caught by the media outside her gym where she openly shared her sorrow and support for Deepika’s family. With tears streaming down her face, she told reporters, “I just got to know about Deepika ji’s papa… it’s so heartbreaking. He is such a respected man, a legend in sports. I’m praying for him, for the entire family.”

She continued, “People think celebrities don’t feel pain, but we’re human too. Deepika must be going through so much right now. I know how it feels to see a loved one in a hospital bed. It’s the worst pain.”

Rakhi, who herself went through a turbulent personal time during the pandemic, said she could relate to the fear and helplessness that surrounds such situations. She added, “All I want to say is, Deepika, be strong. The entire country is praying for your father. We all love you.”

Fans online were stunned but also deeply moved by Rakhi’s genuine reaction. Social media was flooded with hashtags like #PrayForPrakashPadukone and #RakhiForDeepika as users praised Rakhi’s empathy. One user wrote, “Rakhi Sawant may be loud, but her heart is pure. This is real emotion.”

Prakash Padukone, a former All England badminton champion, is one of India’s most respected sports icons. His influence not only shaped the country’s badminton scene but also inspired generations of athletes, including his daughter Deepika, who often speaks of her father as her greatest source of strength and discipline.

As of the latest update, the Padukone family has remained private about the health condition of Prakash Padukone, but sources close to the family assure that he is receiving the best care possible and remains stable.

This moment has reminded many that beyond the glamor and gossip of Bollywood, solidarity and human compassion continue to shine through. In an industry often divided by rivalry and fame, Rakhi Sawant’s public show of emotion stands as a poignant reminder that empathy knows no boundaries
