Another emotional scene made many Filipinos cry after Bimby Aquino shared his heartfelt message for his mother Kris Aquino. Amidst Kris’ ongoing battle with her health, Bimby once again showed how deep his love and concern for his Mama is.

In a video that immediately went viral online, Bimby can be seen sharing his message that really came from the heart.

He said,
“Mama, I know you are feeling a lot of pain and you are thinking a lot, but I just want you to know that no matter what happens, Kuya Josh and I will always be here for you.” Bimby also couldn’t hold back his emotions and his tears gradually flowed as he said the most powerful line of his message:
“I love you, Mama. You are my only Mama. You are the only one who makes us happy and strong even though you are the one who is struggling.”

Bimby added that he wished that Kris would get well soon so that they could do the simple things they used to do together again — like eating together, watching movies, and traveling as a family.

Many netizens were touched by this video. Some commented that they could feel Bimby’s sincerity and kindness at such a young age. Some also said that Kris Aquino was lucky to have raised Bimby full of love and respect.

As of now, Kris is still fighting her illness but has the full support of her children and people who love her. And in the midst of all the trials, Bimby’s message served as a reminder that no illness or problem can defeat the love of a child for his mother.

Kris Aquino wants Bimby to be mayor: He’s not really a thief
In an interview with Ogie Diaz on her YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Inspire,” Kris Aquino admitted that her dream is for her son Bimby to be mayor.

Ogie reminded Kris that her youngest child is 18 years old and this is what she has been waiting for the most, that she hopes to catch up with Bimb when he reaches legal age because he has many illnesses and doesn’t know what will happen every day.

“I’m praying that I can live another 7 years because I discovered my autoimmune disease 7 years ago, so, I hope I can live to see him (Bimb) soaring in as mayor (Bimb was wowed).

“That’s my dream because he wants him to know how to deal with everyone, he’s so honest, so, he’s not really a thief and all and is good at budgeting, so, he can take care of the people (constituents). He has four choices everywhere,” Kris confessed.
And it turns out that Bimb wants to take Legal Management as a course when he enters college.

We wrote here in BANDERA on April 25 that this is the course he wants, “Diverse, eh. Let’s be honest in business, in politics, and showbiz also. It’s always an option, eh, said grandma (former President Corazon Aquino) and my mom said and my family who entered politics, ‘it’s a calling eh.”

Kris teased, “Honey, it’s destiny!”

The young man’s grandma and uncle became president of the Philippines, Mrs. Corazon C. Aquino and uncle Noynoy Aquino and former senator, grandfather Ninoy Aquino and other relatives who currently hold positions in the government.

Kris also said, “First of all, you have to have charisma and you have that (the child thanked the mother) and of course you’re a cute mayor.”

Meanwhile, Kris had a dream that he didn’t achieve and was hoping that Bimb would pursue it, to study at Harvard University.

“This is my dream that did not happen and I hope he gets to fulfill it. Right now, isn’t Trump (Donald-US President) fighting Harvard, no to foreign students.

“So, for sure Harvard will open satellite schools hopefully in Asia like NYU (New York University) has in Hong Kong, Singapore has many more (Singapore American School or SAS, Stamford American International School or SAIS).

“So, I really want him to have what I did not have. That was my dream because (back then in the Philippines) there were many coup d’é·tat. So I always wonder what the trajectory of my life would have been if I had really studied abroad?

“And I want him to experience that because there (abroad), whether in Singapore or there’s also nice schools in Japan (looking at Bimb at the same time), so I can visit you more often, I love Japan,” Kris explained.

Kris also mentioned that Bimb knows how to handle his money because when she gives him P50,000, it takes him two months compared to Joshua who only spends it in two days.

She also admitted that the mother should be the one taking care of the child, but it’s the opposite in their situation because Bimb is the one taking care of him.

And here Kris shared that it’s difficult to debate with her child.

“Because our political leanings are different about America, I’ll stop there,” Kris said. So Kris prays that she will see her child finish his studies and serve the nation.
