After the passing of her mother Nora Aunor last April 16, Lotlot De Leon has shared nothing but gratitude to everyone, from the fans to people in showbiz. for all the love and support for the late actress. Hailed as a National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts in 2022, the country’s undisputed Superstar also received the Presidential Medal of Merit which was given by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. last May 4.

In her Instagram post last May 9, Lotlot shared her observations during her latest visit to her mom’s grave at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City along with her family. She wrote, “Two days ago we visited mom with her grandson, and Echo and my brother Kiko.. the place where mom’s at is in order.  And many people still visit her every day.”

Lotlot thanked those who continue to make the effort to pay homage to her mom, whose fandom is one of the longest and most enduring in Philippine showbiz.

“There are times I wait in the car when I visit her when there are many people.. and I see how they pay their respects to mom. Thank you for your love for her. Thank you for visiting and bringing new candles and flowers for mommy. I’m sure she’s smiling from up above and happy..thank you for always praying for her too,” she added.Before ending her post, Lotlot also made sure to also thank those in charge of Nora’s final resting place. “I would also like to thank the officers and staff of LNMB for their assistance all the time.
