Comedian and host Vice Ganda once boasted that his heart is happy with boyfriend Ion Perez and that he thanks God for it.

In an interview with his former manager Ogie Diaz, Vice talked about the joy that Perez brings to him, especially during this pandemic where he has been going through trials in his personal life.

“My heart is happy. Ion and I are happy. I am happy with Ion. I am happy with our relationship and every day I say thank you to God. ‘You are so kind to give me this.’ What if it weren’t for this?’” said Vice.

The “It’s Showtime” host said that Perez is the one who calms him down whenever he feels sad in life and sometimes cries because of what he is going through.

Ion is a talkative person but when he looks at me and then I see him, I calm down. He calmed my life down,” he said.

The comedian added that he had given up smoking, drinking, and being quiet like he used to do before, when Perez came into his life.

According to him, seeing Perez was enough for him and he didn’t need to go out anymore.

“I used to be a ramp every night, so I gave up on that. I also gave up on smoking. As for drinking, I don’t drink anymore, right? I don’t keep quiet anymore. Ion alone is enough, that’s true. I’ve had enough of Ion working, I’m there, I see him, I’m okay, I’m not going to get involved anymore,” he admitted to Diaz.
