POPE FRANCIS CAUSE OF DEATH – A Vatican doctor stated the reason behind the Pope’s passing and his status prior to death.

On Monday, the members of the Roman Catholic Church were left saddened over the sudden death of Pope Francis. His death which happened shortly after the schedule for the Angelus prayer came as a shocking event as the Pope was seen to be recovering from his lung condition.

Prior to his death, Pope Francis was admitted to Gemelli hospital for more than three (3) weeks. He was admitted to the hospital last February 14 as he was suffering from breathing difficulties. The Supreme Pontiff was diagnosed with bronchitis that developed into double pneumonia.

During his hospitalization, the Pope has reportedly told two (2) people close to him that he might not make it during that people. He believed that his death is near and it reportedly urged the Vatican to start rehearsing for his funeral.

During his hospitalization, there were instances when the Pope will suffer from respiratory attacks. There was even an attack that left him in a critical state for several days but he managed to recover from it.

There were also instances when the condition of the Roman Pontiff was stable. However, amid those instances, the doctors reminded the people that the Pope is not out of danger. There were days when he had to be put on a non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

Previously, the experts said that the chances for recovery of Pope Francis is likely to be long while the chances for negative outcome is “high”. Meanwhile, the Roman Pontiff was able to get out of the hospital and the people were hoping that his recovery will continue.

Pope Francis was even able to speak to the people on Easter Sunday. However, recently, the world was shocked when Vatican announced the passing of the beloved Pope.

With regards to the details about his funeral, based on the report, the spokesman of Vatican said the coffin of the Supreme Pontiff might be moved to St. Peter’s Basilica as early as Monday. Thus, the people can pay their last respects to the Pope.
