Award-winning actress Judy Ann Santos reacted to being called “Young Superstar” before.

Juday is one of the most prominent actresses of her generation. From being a child star, she became one fo the most in-demand drama actresses. Her career continued to prosper and garnered awards and recognition.

Juday was one of the celebrities who mourned the death of Superstar Nora Aunor. The Superstar passed away on April 16 and this saddened the entertainment industry. Messages of condolences for her family overflowed on social media. As a National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts, Nora Aunor was honored in a ceremony before she finally laid to rest in the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

Juday and her husband TV host Ryan Agoncillo went to the wake where she was asked about being called “Young Superstar.” “Lagi ko nga sinasabi walang pwedeng maging ibang Superstar, siya lang, si Ate Guy lang talaga,” Judy Ann Santos said.

Although this tag makes her heart happy but she would always reiterate that this should not be. Juday stressed that no one can achieve Ate Guy’s achievements.

On the other hand, Juday said that she will not pretend that she does not get “kilig” feelings when people would call her that moniker. However, she said that she would never achieve what the Superstar achieved.

“But I’m honored. Nagpapasalamat ako sa thought na naging parte siya ng karera ko,” Judy Ann Santos said. In her career, Juday was able to work with Ate Guy in two movies, “Sana Mahalin Mo Ako” in 1988 and “Babae” in 1997.

Meanwhile, these past years, Juday has lesser acting projects compared when she was younger. She is now more focused on her family and her business.
