Ai-Ai delas Alas has bravely admitted that she has no regrets about her decision to withdraw the green card petition for her ex-husband, Gerald Sibayan, after their separation in late 2024.

In her interview with Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the Comedy Queen said bluntly:

🗨️ “Of course, at first, you have to think about something, but at the end of the day, I don’t feel embarrassed. I did it because I had to live for myself.”

The former couple got married in December 2017 in a grand ceremony attended by many celebrities and politicians.

According to reports, Ai-Ai, who has been a U.S. green card holder since 2015, submitted a petition on behalf of Gerald as her husband. But after years of marriage that led to emotional estrangement and rivalry, she decided to withdraw the petition.

While it’s legal under U.S. immigration law, many have wondered if it’s personal anger or the right move for his welfare.

In the same interview, Ai-Ai clarified:
