Sharon takes over Cinema One’s Monday Drama this January

Piolo and Vhong’s films also showing this month 

The Megastar Sharon Cuneta shines with her undeniable acting chops as some of her well-loved films will be showcased on Cinema One’s Monday Drama, which airs on Mondays at 9pm this January.

Catch the “Saving Grace” star as an overseas Filipino worker and a nurturing stepmother in the digitally restored films “Caregiver” (Jan. 13) and “Madrasta” (Jan. 20). She also reunites with Richard Gomez in the family drama movie “Three Words to Forever” (Jan. 27).

Cinema One opens the new year with films that highlight self-discovery and romance on Blockbuster Sundays. Don’t miss Angel Locsin, Sam Milby, and Zanjoe Marudo’s “The Third Party (Jan. 12), Kris Aquino, Joshua Garcia, and Julia Barretto’s “I Love You, Hater” (Jan. 19), and Gerald Anderson and Pia Wurtzbach’s “My Perfect You” (Jan. 26) airing at 7pm every Sunday.

Take a trip down memory lane with the digitally-restored version of Piolo Pascual’s classic films in Restored Cinema. Watch him in “Dekada ‘70” with Vilma Santos (Jan. 12), “Dreamboy” with Bea Alonzo (Jan. 19), and “Don’t Give Up on Us” with Judy Ann Santos (Jan. 26), which airs at 9pm every first and third Sunday and at 10pm every second and fourth Sunday at 10pm.

“It’s Showtime” host Vhong Navarro brings the perfect combo of horror and laughter as he leads Cinema One’s Thursday Horror. Catch him as the adventurous Red in “Spirit Warriors: The Shortcut” (Jan. 16), photojournalist Odie in “Buy Now, Die Later” (Jan. 25), and nurse in love Conan in “Bulong” (Jan. 30) airing at 9pm.

Meanwhile, Bianca Gonzalez chats with Andrea Brillantes and Piolo Pascual in the encore episodes of “The B Side” this Jan. 10 and 24. Catch its replays every Saturday, 6pm, Sunday, 9pm, and Monday, 10am.
