Sharon Cuneta On Kiko Pangilinan’s Win: “Miracles still happen”

Megastar Sharon Cuneta said that she believes that miracles still happen after Filipino people spoke through their votes that they wanted her husband Kiko Pangilinan to be in the Senate.
In the past, Kiko has already served as a senator and in 2022, he decided to run for vice president as the running mate of former Vice President Leni Robredo. However, that was not a successful political endeavor.
Kiko took a break from the political scene for a while until last year when he filed his certificate of candidacy for senator.

Sharon Cuneta was in all-out support of her husband’s return to the political scene. She even shared an open letter written by their daughter Frankie Pangilinan to the mayors in the Philippines asking them to support Kiko Pangilinan.
Surveys prior to the election days showed a low ranking for Kiko. However, the election result favored the senatorial candidate. Based on the latest partial and unofficial results, as of this writing, Kiko Pangilinan is in the number five spot.
In an Instagram post, Sharon Cuneta highlighted the success that her husband achieved in the 2025 elections. “I said it in our interview with @iamkarendavila — I BELIEVE THAT MIRACLES STILL HAPPEN!!! All we did before and apart from our hard work in the campaign was PRAY, TRUST, PRAY, PRAISE AND GLORIFY GOD NO MATTER WHAT!” she wrote.

They prayed as a family with the perception that no matter what happened, they would accept the result. Sharon also said that they are thankful that people gave Kiko the chance to be a public servant.
“MARAMING, MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA INYONG MGA NAGTITIWALA, NANINIWALA, SUMUSUPORTA, NANGAMPANYA, NAGTYAGA SA HIRAP, INIT AT PAGOD, NAGDASAL, AT BUMOTO KAY KIKO KAHAPON!” the Megastar said.
Sharon also mentioned that all the criticism and fabricated stories about her husband to pull him down and being disseminated by online trolls did not work. The actress-singer pointed out that it was because those who voted for Kiko weren’t affected by these.
Sharon Cuneta congratulated her husband for his success. In the comment section of her post, many netizens also celebrated the win of Kiko Pangilinan and his return to the Senate.
