She rose to fame after joining the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother for its Teen Clash 2010 edition. From that, Yen was featured in various teleseryes.

The last movie that she did was A Faraway Land in 2021 with her ex-boyfriend Kapuso actor Paolo Contis. From that, she was out of the limelight for quite a while.
