NOW Luis Manzano proves that he inherits many traits from his father, Edu Manzano.

One of those is the most obvious quality of the award-winning veteran actor that people love – his cheerfulness and natural sense of humor.

“When he talks about him and when people talk about him, they all say he’s a funny guy. He makes sure that everyone around him is happy,” Luis said in an interview.

And Jessy Mendiola’s husband almost wanted the same, “Somehow I want people to smile too.”

The Kapamilya TV host also said that he now sees himself with his and Jessy’s son, Baby Peanut.

“Peanuts, they’re so cute!” He knew that he was going to have to go through the motions. “It’s just a slap in the face!” the TV host exclaimed.

In one of her vlogs, when Peanut came into her life with Jessy, she said she felt very happy and excited.

“I didn’t expect it to be so overwhelming. I’m not just trying to tell you but you know, there are times when I cry with Peanut. We’re still there.

“I still find myself in awe that we have been able to do that, that we have been able to give that kind of life that the Lord has given us a good life.

“There are times when I still cry because she is growing so fast. When we kiss in the morning, it’s a very overwhelming feeling,” Luis said.

“Now I’m more driven. I also want to work hard. As a husband and father, you have to be a realist. It used to be that way, but now you’re thinking… You can imagine that as a provider I’m more driven by what I need to do for you, not just money, but my responsibilities,” the TV host added.

“The biggest challenge is the fear of the unknown. As much as I want to say that I want to lay out your future, we don’t know what tomorrow will bring.

“I want to make sure that when the time comes, you guys will be okay.

“But while I’m still paving that road, we’re preparing for the one that doesn’t even have its own plane, but I want you to be okay but that’s the biggest challenge because while you’re paving it, we just don’t know for sure what will happen tomorrow,” Luis said.
