Jackie Lou Blanco gave an emotional eulogy on the final night of her estranged husband, Ricky Davao, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Heritage Memorial Park. Despite their long separation, everyone in attendance felt the depth of Jackie’s love and respect for Direk Ricky.

All three chapels at Heritage were filled, standing room only as Ricky’s friends, family members, and fans listened in tears. Many felt the true value of family, forgiveness, and unconditional love in Jackie Lou’s words. He said, “Take [the urn] home until we decide where the resting place is,” just as they did with Jackie’s late mother, Pilita Corrales.
On the last night of the lamay, many in attendance couldn’t hold back tears, especially seeing how Jackie Lou hugged and kissed Ricky’s daughter Justine. Also in his embrace were other women who were part of the actor-director’s life, such as Mayeth Malca Darroca. Over the course of two weeks, Jackie Lou went through so many emotions, from the death of her mother, to the loss of her children’s father. “It can only be through God’s grace,” he said, of how he got through it all.

Despite her separation from Jackie Lou Blanco, she remained a part of the life of the actress and their children. He is also a father to Justine, the daughter of former beauty queen Cheryl Singzon.
In a report by KAMI, Jackie Lou shared how overwhelmed she feels after losing two loved ones in just one month. He said that he had no choice but to rely on his faith, and that he was the only one who could rely on God’s grace at this time.
In the same interview, Jackie Lou recounted Ricky’s last days before he passed away. He said he was with Ricky in the hospital and he remembered those times as heavy but full of meaning and love. He also showed how they got along and stayed together as a family even in the final moments of Ricky’s life.
